Nothing goes better with a Sunday sermon than a delicious BBQ and we hosted a very yummy one this afternoon for the mission trip youth and their parents. Can you believe it's only 39 days until we set sail for DC! Youth and leaders alike, we are all getting excited as the countdown begins. We proposed a contract be signed stating the yay's and nay's of the mission trip. Thankfully it went over pretty darn well with all involved. There were only minimal squawks from the youth. Next on the list - all day work day next Saturday. This is when things get good. We'll crack that whip and let the kids know who's boss! ha ha I'm just kidding. On a more serious side it will be a day for the kids to work together, as a team to get certain tasks and jobs done out at Camp Molly. Little do they know they will be building team moral without even recognizing that they are doing so.
Side note, Jonathan placed 3rd in the photo contest (thanks to all who voted). Because of this he won himself a $50 gift certificate to BEL's and he's been entered in the national competition!! Such a cutie pie he is!!
