WOW! It's amazing how much you forget between baby #1 and baby #2. It seems as if Jillian's growth spurt is over (AMEN) and we're attempting a routine once more. Though I say routine, she can be up at night sometimes every 3-4 hours and other times it's every 2-3. No one day is ever the same, although it does all seem to happen within the same small time frame. Just like no one person is the same, no one baby is the same and Jillian does vary from Jonathan. Personality wise right now they are pretty darn similar and we can't complain one bit because heaven knows it could be worse :)
We had our 2 week check up on Tuesday and we're growing and gaining (AMEN AGAIN)! On Tuesday she was 9lbs 5 oz so we're almost back up to our birth weight. Heaven knows she's been eating like I'm a darn 7-11 store - It's amazing how quickly 2-3 hours can fly by :)
And it does appear as if we have another red-head on our hands...watch out world (and mommy/daddy)!!
good luck with a routine! hard to have one at this age and Wes breastfed around the clock every 2 hours so I feel your pain in that that time slot that you have a moment to do anything is gone in a blink of an eye. Hooray for gaining weight! That's always encouraging that you're both doing your jobs! ;-)
