Highlights

It's been a few weeks, ok almost a month, since our last post. LOTS and LOTS of wonderful things have been happening, let us name a few:

• Safe return from a momentous mission trip to Washington, DC
• The youth have lots of pictures and stories to tell. A return service is in the making - stay tuned.
• Jonathan got his new glasses before we left for DC and has been doing BEAUTIFULLY since day one. We go back to the doctors next week to see if he's made any progress. If so we'll keep the specs if not we'll add a patch!
  
• While in DC I (Holly) received a call about a job offer!! Hooray it's official I am a Guidance Counselor once again!! Let the fun times and headaches begin!!
• Josh has been working crazy hours since returning from DC to make up for my lack of income since I've been working in the summer school program (16 hours a week). We love him for ALL of his hard work!
• We thought we had made progress in the real estate world. Made an offer on a super sweet home in Hampden but the counter offer wasn't as low as we had hoped and there's about $10k to be done in the basement. We're looking into building. The adventure awaits!
• Jonathan will hopefully be starting daycare next week. It will be an adjustment as his sleeping schedule and child care schedules has been all out of sorts since school ended and we left for DC. Establishing a routine again may be tricky but it's possible.

We are gracious that Nana Gunn and Mame Dyer were able to watch Jonathan while we were away! Without their willingness to help out the trip never would have been possible...We love them, LOTS!!
