Deep Breathing

So much has been going on in the Gunn household and at work that time has sort of passed me by. I have some pics from our camping trip - here are a few of my fav! Check out Jonathan's way cool new patch. It's finally worn on me! Makes him extra unique!



At work I've yet to reach a level of normalcy. Very recently we had an former student (2 years removed) pass away thus creating a ripple of grief amongst the student body and staff alike. It's been really hard to get appointments and IEP meetings in. Monday is the funeral so I'm hopefully we can all have a good cry and attempt to move forward Tuesday. It will be a long journey for my kiddos. My heart aches for these kids, obviously, but I've been in their shoes a number of times since high school myself and it is never an easy thing to deal with. What a way to start the year.

As a family we've been in transition mode at the apartment. Some packing has occurred (very little) but our closing date is still pretty set for the 30th of September. I've hear tell that perhaps we might be pushed up to the 23rd, but at any rate I don't think we're ready. We've made a few small purchases (ceiling fans) and narrowed down an agreeable paint color so those fairly small, yet big things are taken care of. We also purchased our neighbors couch since we'll have a finished basement.

Lots of upcoming events , transitions and LONG days! I'm ready.....I think :)
