This is Gunner (dog) and his friends Kia and Mia (goats). Gunner was quite friendly indeed and a gracious host while the goats were hoping to receive a yummy snack. We also met George (Alpaca). Jonathan thought he needed a hair cut...don't you agree?Wednesday, March 31, 2010
Uptah Camp
Last weekend we packed up and headed North, again, to Moosehead Lake. I admit, I was hoping to stay home for the weekend do absolutely nothing for a change but in the end the weekend trip to the lake was well worth the trip. Josh captured this photo from our balcony at sunrise.
While Josh was out fishing with Papa Gunn, Jon, Cait, Nana, and I decided to seek out Historical Pittston Farm. If you've ever watched American Loggers than you've heard tell of the "Golden Road" and that my friends is very similar to the wonderful, muddy, snowy road that we took to Pittston Farm. While at the farm we indulged in lunch (baked beans and hot dogs with corn bread) and met some adorable baby goats and hairy alpacas.
