Making Progress

Over the past few weeks Jonathan has entertained the idea of being a "big boy" and utilizing the potty at daycare. Generally speaking he's brought to the bathroom and not asking to use it. Nonetheless, this is progress in the making. Last night Jonathan ASKED to use the potty. Josh and I both thought "yeah right" but willingly put him down with a book to read. Before too long we were placing him in the tub for his bath and to our surprise Jonathan had left us a surprise!! I vowed I'd never be one of those moms that publicly announces such accomplishments but this is a big achievement. Not only did our little man ASK to use the potty but he actually went the bathroom and it wasn't #1 either!! :) We're making progress in the right direction. I'm anxious to leave diapers behind and hopeful that we'll have done so before little Miss comes along in April!!
