What a fabulous time Sunday was! We ventured down to Jordan Pond in Acadia National Park for a 3 mile hike.
The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and we were hiking. I started out with Jonathan but about half way in passed him off to dad, just in time to climb over the rocks. Jonathan fared rather well. Occasionally he would get fussy but mostly he was taking in the sights and enjoying the fresh outdoors smell. He did eventually fall asleep while on Josh's back which was pretty stinkin' cute.
We lunched at
Geddy's in downtown Bar Harbor where Jonathan was the proud recipient of a beautiful red balloon. For visual purposes we tied it to his back belt loop keeping an easy eye on him while playing in the park.
Stopped off at Blueberry Hill in Ellsworth for some scrumptious ice cream, rented "He's Just Not That Into You" (okay movie) and before we knew it, it time for bed! Check out more pics at
